True travel and landscape photography opportunities here enriched with the natives are the splendour of crystal clear turquoise sea, rainbow coral, fishing boats and diverse plant life amongst palm and coconut trees, mangroves, all under a canopy of blue sky, surrounded by an impressive mountainous backdrop that glow blue in certain light times of the day for once in a lifetime photographic opportunities with unlimited expert tuition concluding before dark, Sunset is at 6pm as Palawan is on the equator.

Itinerary Day 2 Vietville lost village & Nagtabon Beach DEC 12

A split half day at each of two destinations spending the morning at the charming Vietville, an abandoned village from the remains of Vietnamese refugee boat people whom migrated here decades ago. Witness the relics of old wooden shack housing with tin roofs set amongst overgrown woodland and nature reclaiming the street, roads and housing, some with just the sink and tap left on show. Lunching at Vietville which has a great restaurant on site which offers the most amazing Chaolong dishes and french bread with beef, pork or chicken fillings. After lunch, the afternoon will be spent at Nagtabon beach, a short journey to the West for a chance to unwind and relax whilst making photographs of the boats, palms and mountain, especially at Sunset.

Itinerary Days 3-4 Sabang Coast & Mangrove Forest DEC 13-14

Heading north from Puerto to Sabang briefly stopping at Ugong rock enroute to the Subterranean National Park which houses Unesco World wonders of nature and protected heritage sites. Including the longest navigable underground river with it's distinguished features and grand chambers of which we enter by boat through a natural cave opening and is at the heart of this area surrounded by Limestone Karst mountains. We'll then slow boat ride through the mangrove forest and short trek the rest of the way out to the vast beach area where we'll be confronted with giant sea stacks. Rugged Coastline with spectacular views of Mount Bloomfield with a waterfall spilling out into the ocean. An overnight stay is required to include Sunset and Sunrise.

Itinerary Days 5-6 San Vicente 14km Long Beach DEC 15-16

Continuing our photo tour even further north we will arrive at yet another paradise but with a difference. The 14km long beach of San Vicente with pure white sand that turns pink under dusk light, Air Asia filmed one of their promotional videos here. With plenty of time to relax and take in the breathtaking landscape we will master long exposure photography throughout the day and night. This remote location is ideal for astro photography too as there's minimal light pollution if any at all. Also tutoring abstract subjects such as shadows of palm trees overhanging the white/pink sand and eye catching composition to think and envisage our subjects before capture. Of course ample seascape opportunity too at all times of the day and night.

Itinerary Days 7-8 El Nido The Last Ecological Frontier DEC 17-18

Known as the last ecological frontier, El Nido is made up of an archipelago of Islands around the main El Nido and Bacuit bays. in this location you'll enjoy exclusive access to private Islands, lagoons and twin lagoons the twin beaches at Nacpan, amazing giant limestone karst sea stacks jutting out from the crystal clear waters plus lots to do including great restaurants and night life in El Nido's old town and main strip. One of the most remote northern regions of Palawan and a jewel in the crown for one the most remarkable places to visit on earth. Polarising, UV and Neutral Density filters are invaluable here to control the bright light and expanse of sea coupled with blue skies and contrasting darker mountainous backdrops.
